"Be Safe Dearest Ones"

My art journal spread from this weekend.

I was thinking about my children and how they might be seeing their futures. Their view of what life has in store for them is so different from mine. So much time still lies in their futures. I forget to look at the world from their perspective and see all the mountains they are eager to climb, all the bridges they have yet to cross. I forget the youthful energy and enthusiasm they put into every moment.

My lessons and my challenges are for me. They will have lessons and challenges of their own.

My wish filters down to this, "be safe, dearest ones". On life's journey we are looking out for each other, helping each other and encouraging each other.
