Being Quiet

I was up late last night painting in my art journal when she appeared! I love how this page expresses my ideas about where my mind, body and soul go for quiet time.

I am getting ready to lead another workshop next week about the quiet spaces in our lives and in our minds and it was interesting to see where the prompts took me. Leaving plenty of quiet space on my page is a reflection of the quiet spaces in me.  They are always there but they are not empty. I find that filling my quiet spaces with kind, loving energy toward myself allows me to connect with others and be stimulated by people and nature without losing sight of my identity and importance.

I hope you find time in your day to reflect on your quiet spaces.
