Embracing My Artistic Journey after F1VEart... and something special for you!

Hello You!
This month marks the end of a transformative five-year journey for me with F1VEart, a collective of passionate artists who created a sanctuary for creativity. Our combined commitment to continue growing, learning, and evolving fueled our journey together...
...and it has been nothing short of exhilarating! We embarked on this adventure together, fueled by shared visions and dreams. Together, we transformed a blank space into our haven for artistic exploration, painting, sharing and learning from each other. Along with painting in our space, we created experiences including teaching workshops, hosting First Fridays, curating gallery shows for ourselves and guest artists, hosting critique nights, challenging ourselves with collaborative work, giving our best for charity fundraising and having a blast at our annual festive party!
Amidst all the activity, it's the friendships I have with these generous, loving women that has been a constant source of encouragement, inspiration, and laughter. As we hatched ideas and orchestrated events, every planning session became a reminder of the power of community.
What Lies Ahead
I'm excited to see what’s next for F1VEart. With restructuring underway, three talented artists; Yahel Yan, Melissa Marquardt, and Sheri Hayes will continue working in the studio and are welcoming a fourth artist, Karla Preciado. Denise Cerro and Ann Golumbuk are also venturing out on their next chapters. As for me, I'm stepping into a newly leased studio, also in Barracks 16, just down the hall in Suite 213. I'm at the beginning of a thrilling new chapter in my artistic journey.
Over the past five years, I've seen the results of passion and persistence in my creative growth. I’ve explored my creative process deeply and intimately, unraveling various facets of myself and my connection to the world around me. This commitment has not only broadened my skill set but also enriched my understanding of art as a powerful medium of self-expression. As I close this significant chapter with F1VEart, I carry with me the lessons learned and relationships cherished. My time was one of excitement, excellence, and endless possibilities. Here’s to new beginnings, uncharted territories, and a commitment to embracing every moment of growth.
Starting this month, you'll find me each week at my new studio Thursday thru Sunday; then, each month at Liberty Station's First Friday, and on August 1, 2 & 3, I’ll have a booth at ArtWalk Liberty Station. Please come by, say hi, and share in this new chapter of creative exploration with me!
