Hello You!
I am so excited my show will be opening next Sunday the 10th! I'll be there early to finish setting up and look forward to seeing you between 1:00 and 5:00pm. If you can't make it Sunday, the show will be on display until the 23rd and I'll be at the gallery each day between 11:00am and 3:00pm. I'm planning to work on new paintings during that time and would love to share the process with you.

Art has always been my way of finding myself in this world. Finding out where my strength and solitude come from. Where I’m headed and why. It’s what makes my view of the world unique and how I make sense of what’s around me.
When I finished the first painting “I Am Entirely Possible”, I was inspired to continue in search of myself. As I created each piece, I felt like I was coming closer to a light within me. I felt like I was returning home. Each piece became a meditative journey into who I am, where I’ve been and where I’m going. I let myself become more vulnerable, welcoming the uncomfortable, unknown parts of myself in order to express how I feel about being human, creating a family, building friendships and living a full life.
Along with finding myself, these paintings taught me the power of letting go and allowing creativity to flow freely. They showed me that sometimes finding the best in my art and in my life comes from not having a plan or expectation, but simply letting myself enjoy each moment.
