From Studio to Gallery: Embracing My Latest Transition

Hello You!

Sometimes things take shape quietly, while you’re busy doing other things.

The last few weeks were full of fun art events, moving my paintings around town, talking with visitors, all the while creating the beginnings of something new at my studio.

First there was ArtWalk Little Italy which went very well. My thanks to so many friends and collectors for coming to visit me on India Street in San Diego's Little Italy.

Then there was First Friday Open Studios at the Arts District Liberty Station where I have my studio space. Another lovely evening spent in the company of art appreciators!

All the while, paintings were coming and going, new conversations and familiar faces, postcards appearing, walls being rearranged, and in the middle of all that motion, something settled in me and into this season.

My studio quietly became something new.

For the summer, I welcome you to;

Susie Zol Art Studio & Gallery.

Which means it's a space to visit, slow down, and see a fuller collection of my work in one place.

I’ll be there every week, Thursday thru Sunday, changing pieces around, overthinking placement, and generally keeping it alive through the season. Even painting new pieces.

If you’d like to stop by, you are warmly invited.
